Privacy policy

Market Mastery Mentors ("we", "us") offers trading mentorship: 1 on 1 sessions, coaching calls and live calls. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who else handles it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We collect as little as we can: this website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

What we collect and why

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you visit. This is needed to show you the website and keep it secure. We don't use analytics, and our pages set no cookies.
When you buy a package, we collect your name, your email address, the package you chose and how you pay. We need these to take your payment, schedule your sessions and keep our accounts. You enter your card details in Stripe's secure payment fields and they go straight to Stripe: we never see or store your full card number.
When you email us or take part in the mentorship, we receive your messages and anything you choose to share about your trading, your goals or your finances. We use this to put together a personalized coaching path for you.

We use your data because we need it to carry out our agreement with you, because the law requires us to keep financial records, and because we have a legitimate interest in running our business, creating content and keeping our website and payments secure.

Recordings

We record our 1 on 1 sessions, coaching calls and live calls. By booking a session or joining a call, you know that it will be recorded.

We use recordings to deliver the mentorship, for example to look back at a session with you, and to create Market Mastery Mentors content, such as course material and posts on our social media. A recording can include your face, your voice, your name and what you say on the call.

We do our best to anonymize the people who appear in our content as much as possible. If there is a situation where you have to appear on screen in a way that makes you identifiable, we explicitly ask for your permission first. It will not be posted without your permission.

You stay in control of how you appear:

On live calls you can keep your camera off and use a first name or a nickname.
If you don't want to appear in our content, email info@marketmasterymentors.com, before or after a call. We will leave you out or make you unrecognisable.
We ask your permission before we publish anything from a private 1 on 1 session in which you can be recognised.

You can object to the use of your recordings at any time. We will then stop using them in new content, and remove you from content we have already published where we reasonably can.

Who else handles your data

We never sell your data or use it for advertising. We share it only with the services we need to run our business:

Stripe processes payments and checks them for fraud.
Zoom hosts our sessions and live calls and stores the recordings.
Google provides Google Pay if you pay with it. Apple provides Apple Pay if you pay with it.
The platforms where we publish content, such as Instagram and TikTok, for recordings used in our content.
Our accountant, and the authorities when the law requires it.

Some of these companies are based outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. When your data goes there, we rely on the safeguards these companies offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

Our pages set no cookies. On the checkout pages, Stripe sets cookies it needs to process payments securely and prevent fraud, such as __stripe_mid (kept for 1 year) and __stripe_sid (kept for 30 minutes). Its anti-fraud services, hCaptcha and HUMAN, may set their own. These cookies are strictly necessary to pay safely, so we don't ask for consent. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep your data

Payment and invoice records: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
Your contact details, session notes, emails and recordings: 2 years after your last session or contact.
Content we have published: as long as we use it, unless you object (see Recordings).
Logs of our checkout server: 7 days, then they are deleted automatically.

Stripe also keeps payment records under its own legal obligations; see stripe.com/privacy.

Security

This website uses HTTPS everywhere. Your card and financial information is handled securely by Stripe, a third-party payment provider, and never reaches our systems.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date below.
